some pics from our annual beach vacation

Our trip this year was challenging. 18 month old Callie didn't like the ocean, sand or getting in the pool, making a "beach vacation" kind of hard. But we got through it and made the best of things. I had little confidence that I would be able to get any from their beach session, but I was pleasantly surprised of how many I actually liked. Maybe next year I'll be able to get some of them running through the water.....there's always hope, right?
She's always on the run.

Getting one of the two of them is kinda hard:(

Three years old and going on twenty-five.

If you look closely you can see the bird in the sky. I loved the way Callie put her arms out like a bird.

more of my nephew Tommy:)

The girls got to meet Tommy. Both are in love but Maya showed it a little more. She was such a little mama to him. She would barely leave his side. Callie was interested but at one point rolled away and crossed her arms in protest. He's such a cutie and love sucking his fingers, especially his thumb. This was just one of his many photo sessions to come.

Aditi

I would never want to be in a staring contest with this girl. She was so funny. I caught a few smiles but mostly she just looked at me with those big, brown eyes, rarely blinking. She is tiny too. Compared to my girls, light as a feather. She was the star of the show and adored by her parents. They were a wonderful family to spend a hot and humid morning with.

meet little Tommy~my nephew

Introducing the newest member of our growing family, my nephew Thomas Ian. He arrived on our wedding anniversary, June 12! He is tiny and perfect in every way. He is a blessing and I am so excited to watch him grow and change. Congratulations Ian and Lori!

The Negron Family

I photographed this family at Lakewood Park this morning. It's beautiful with a perfect spot to view the Cleveland skyline. It looked like it was going to rain but held off for us. I had a lot of fun with the boys. They were little hams, working it for the camera with their sunglasses on. They had fun seeing how hard they could give me high fives. They are tough little guys!

John and Elizabeth

What a perfect evening to photograph two people in love! I had so much fun at Indigo Lake with these two. They are fun and relaxed and totally in love with each other. I look forward to their August wedding. It's going to be a blast!
